Help Microsoft’s acquisition to proceed smoothly! Activision Blizzard creates new jobs

According to media reports, “Call of Duty” publisher Activision recently created a new communications director position to focus on Microsoft’s acquisition and help coordinate and communicate the news of “being acquired by Microsoft”.

Activision Blizzard said this will help share the company’s strategic direction and lead its communications efforts, a position held by board member Lulu Cheng Meservey. Ms. Meservey will “serve as the public face of Activision Blizzard at a critical time ahead of its imminent acquisition by Microsoft.”

Currently, two global regulators have approved the acquisition, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Competition (GAC) and Brazil’s Council for Economic Protection (CADE).
